{ WARNING! Alien Abduction Day! }

Hello all!  Christina here....

Did ya'll know that tomorrow, March 20th, is Alien Abduction Day?!?!?!  Who knew?  I sure didn't and when I found out, I decided to see what I needed to do to NOT be abducted by those goofy looking little creatures!  Ewww!  Their big eyes like totally creep me out!  My brain is not open for business....no reading by creepy, height-challenged little strangers!

So - the answer is..........aluminum foil!  Get that!  Apparently, if we wear aluminum foil hats to sheild our brains, then it acts like a Faraday cage and stops the aliens from being able to read our minds.  Whoa, that is soooooo cool.

So, Frolics, even though there is not much to read in your little brain; other than how to fetch sticks and look so stinkin' cute, I really don't want to loose you so we need to make you a hat right away!

Now, sit still Frolics!  I know it's making a weird noise but you gotta sit still so I can get the size right!!  That's a good boy!

THERE!  Perfect fit!  Now you are protected from any kinda alien that might want to abduct you for their own!  Ha, you actually look pretty darned cute in it too!  Frolics, everything's cute on you!

Oh, and I need to go and tell all the girls and Trey as well.  They need to make their own aluminum foil hats for tomorrow!  I hope we have enough foil left for everybody.

  1. Thanks for the notice! I'll be on the lookout for extraterrestrials tomorrow - perhaps I can bribe them with chocolate to leave my brain alone. Your foil hats remind me of the centaur Foaly from the Artemis Fowl series - are you a fan?

    1. I've been looking for them all day....truth be told, I think some of the kids in my Science class are aliens disguised as dorky 8th grade boys.☺ ~Christina ♫

  2. I had no idea! You need to make the other girls and Trey hats right away! A side note, even though it's supposed to be protective gear, Frolics looks adorable in his hat. Could you please tell me where you got him from? Thanks, and I wish you the best of luck in avoiding those scary aliens! :)

  7. Hi! I know this has nothing to do with aliens, but where did you get your kitchen table? I really don't know where to get one or what kind to get.

    1. Hi there, Our table and chairs are not AG so they are a bit "larger scale" than we would like but we do like to "recycle, reuse & reduce" so we use it. However, we are thinking about cutting the legs down a bit so the table is a better height for us when we are standing around chatting. The table and chairs came as part of a "baby doll" set that also included a cradle and high chair. We do see it now and again on eBay so I'd suggest checking there since we got this many years ago at Costco. ~D3 Girls♥

  12. Frolics is completely adorable! What breed of dog is he? I have an English bulldog called Meatloaf, but somehow he hasn't made it onto my blog yet. You've inspired me to include him, Christina!

  13. If you cannot find a tag, could i have the shop owners name? Like the shop you bought it from.

    1. Hi again Remi, Unfortunately, there is no tag on this couch. It wasn't from a shop....it was just being sold as a used doll couch. Plus, it was so long ago that I don't have record of who the seller was. So sorry!!

  16. Hey! I was just wondering, how do you set out your blog like that? Like the 'Meet the Girls and Guys section', the art and the fonts, too. I would love to know! thanks!

    1. Hey Smiley Saige!! The "Meet" sections are actually called "Pages" in Blogger so if you go to your main dashboard and click on "Pages", this is where you can add a new page. It's that easy! Good luck!!! ~D3 Girls ♥
